Daniele Kohler

Executive Enterprise Business Architect Smart Venue


Daniele G. Kohler joined HPE Business Solution Group in 2011, focusing on the successful implementation of Advisory IT Transformation Strategy and Professional Services in various national and international vertical industries.

Daniele has leveraged his experience and technological solution knowledge to deliver value to clients in their digital transformation. Among other things, he has developed business cases to introduce innovative and disruptive "Intelligent Venue & Smart Green City" solutions to the GEO DACH market.

His knowledge, leadership qualities and IT expertise are the result of over 40 years of experience in IT. During his career, he has held a variety of positions including Board Member, Start-up Company Entrepreneur, Country Manager Switzerland, Country Key Account Manager, Sales & Marketing Manager and Senior IT Advisor for Outsourcing and Managed Service projects.

His focus is on promoting initiatives to advise and assist clients in their digital transformation into a competitive, service-oriented company. This is the goal and the way the team and he work to meet your needs.

Volker Meschonat

Senior Sales Manager for Smart Cities & Spaces


Volker supports and guides the NVIDIA partners along the value chain to solve challenges of typical end customers managing rare spaces. This starts with OEMs, followed by Video Management System (VMS) vendors to System Integrators. Not to forget the highly specialized Independent Software and Hardware Vendors (ISV and IHV) which provide their products in the range of video analytics (IVA), Audio AI and IoT. Prior to joining NVIDIA/Mellanox, Volker has won considerable experience in a wide range of fields, mostly Ethernet/IP networking, but also compute and storage. Most of the roles have involved Sales, Post- or Pre-Sales including Business Development with international scope. All these positions were filled out at either hardware vendors (Siemens, NOKIA Siemens, Extreme Networks, OTN Systems, Infoblox) or system integrators/ distributors (Xantaro, Exclusive Networks), dealing with gear, software, maintenance, and professional services. Additionally, he has had a variety of Project Management roles in development, NPI, and sales projects. He has also covered active trainer roles. Volker holds a Dipl.-Ing. degree in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology (MSc EE/IT equivalent) from the University of Technology in Dresden.

Roman Mohry

Head of Enterprise Sales DACH

Roman Mohry is leading Red Hat’s Enterprise business in the DACH region. He has more than 20 years experience in the IT industry, passionate about helping companies in their digital transformation and cloud journey to be most successful in their markets. In this domain he held sales and management roles, leading service- and cloud / outsourcing related business areas in companies such as IBM, Colt Technologies, EMC/Dell EMC.

Xavier Poisson Gouyou Beauchamps

Vice President, Service Providers and Cloud28+ Worldwide


Xavier Poisson advocates economic growth through community development and innovation. In his role as Vice President for Service Providers and Cloud28+ Worldwide, he leads global expansion of an ecosystem that creates new opportunities for partners and customers alike to accelerate their business results. Prior to his present role at HPE, Xavier ran the company's Hybrid IT and Cloud business groups in Europe, Middle East and Africa, for which he oversaw go-to­ market strategy, sales, and marketing programs. For this work, Xavier was named "Cloud Leader of the Year" by Data Cloud Europe, citing his "contribution to making Cloud28+ a mature, global success where providers, users, governments and academics can meet virtually and collaborate." A long-time proponent of open communities, sustainable IT, data sovereignty, and European cloud initiatives, Xavier is an active contributor to the GAIA-X architecture, representing HPE in the community's working groups. He also currently serves as a board member for EuroCloud France.  

Leontina Sandu

Head of the Interoperability Unit


Leontina Sandu is the Head of the Interoperability Unit at DG DIGIT as of the 15th of January 2022.

The employment history in her professional portfolio shows she was a software engineer at a California-based company, product manager for mobile solutions in the European Commission (On the Go app), assistant of DIGIT’s former Director-General Gertrud Ingestad (2016-2020), and the Head of the Unit for Digital Business Solutions at DG COMP.

Leontina defines her current role in the Interoperability Unit and Interoperable Europe as an exciting challenge and an opportunity to learn something new every day. “We are determined to make interoperability part of every digital matter at the European Commission and everywhere else” she says.

Kevin Zimmerli

Lead Solution Consultant IoT & Intelligent Edge


Kevin Zimmerli joined the HPE Business Solution Group in 2019 and focuses on the successful adoption of Advisory IT Transformation Strategy, Professional & Operational Services across various national and international vertical industries.

Kevin has used his top-down business understanding and financial background to develop new and highly innovative solutions. In his years at HPE, he has been able to introduce several new and disruptive business models to the GEO DACH market. The most notable of these fall into the Intelligent Venue & Smart Green City area, where he was not only responsible for the business and solution design, but also took the lead on the operational architecture and financial model.

His ultimate goal is to guide enterprises in their digital transformation from start to finish, through comprehensive management of customised consulting services (cross-functional) & development of customised business solutions.

To do this, he builds strong relationships and trust with management stakeholders and create sustainable relationships with his clients. This gives him and his fellows the opportunity to drive transformational initiatives and projects with global & long-term impact.
